A former teacher turned educational entrepreneur, she spent years running learning centers for children with learning disabilities in Northern California, blending compassion with innovation.

Beyond the page, L.L. is a proud mom of three, doting grandma of two, and a fierce advocate for foster youth as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate). When she’s not writing or championing children, you’ll find her in the garden, surrounded by whimsical gnomes and her two delightfully goofy rescue pit bulls. She’s also a passionate collector of vintage McCoy pottery and forever chasing the magic of a great story.
